Pure Elegance Yule Parlor Set

Sometimes a design comes together so well that it just takes my breath away.  That's what happened when I was dressing this parlor set.  It started when I found the fabric and fell in love with its beautiful colors and the unique pattern.  As soon as I had upholstered the first piece I knew that magic was going to happen!  The colors in the fabric brought out the best in this mahogany parlor set, pulling up the slightly cherry undertone.  It's a match made in heaven.  When I added the gold piping, it all pulled together.  I considered adding throw pillows and a silk shawl but I think that any addition would have detracted from the sheer beauty and elegance of the wood, the fabric and the slight sparkle of gold.  This is one of my all time favorites!
