Custom Rosedale Attic Parlor
Cherie's parlor space doubles as both a bedroom and an informal sitting room. Her Aunt Rose has tried to provide her with everything she needs to be comfortable even if all the pieces don't exactly match. She still tries to maintain the sense of propriety by ensuring that Cherie has a proper courting couch although she suspects that Cherie doesn't use it.
The house was still in the final stages of building when some of these pictures were taken so there's some construction work going on. Please excuse the sawdust and be careful not to trip over any exposed wires.
This is Cherie's "Sweet Lilac" bed and I admit to hoarding the fabric in the very back of my cupboard because I knew that it belonged to Cherie. I think the bed came out every bit as pretty as I had pictured it in my head. It's one of my very favorite beds to date. Click on the thumbnails to see all the details.
One corner of the attic has been arranged into a sitting room for Cherie. Rose was very careful to choose just the right courting couch for propriety's sake.

And a cute little nightgown that insisted on being made while I was sorting thru lace for the chaise. I think it suits Cherie's personality.
